An Audit Senior is a highly productive and functioning member of the team, supervising multiple engagements and demonstrating technical knowledge and ability. They demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the audit process and are able to complete complex areas of audit engagements with minimal guidance and supervision. Audit Seniors are able to perform in an in-charge capacity and demonstrate an understanding of the firm’s audit approach and overall requirements for a complete engagement. Audit Seniors demonstrate an ability to take ownership of projects and are tenacious in tying up loose ends.
Assignments are organized so that rarely, if ever, the ball is dropped or there is a need to be reminded of an uncompleted task. Audit Seniors are able to prepare properly indexed and referenced work papers. Audit Seniors are to complete work efficiently, recognize issues of concern and opportunities as they arise and take steps to resolve or maximize those issues. Audit Seniors demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our software tools including Microsoft Office, Products, Adobe Acrobat, PPC and ARM, CCH Engagement and Practice Management. Audit Seniors prepare audit programs for approval, including the timeline, budget, scheduling and personnel required. They are able to review and prepare audit work papers and supervise other audit staff. Audit Seniors also work co-operatively with the team, sharing their knowledge with other team members and contributing to the team as a whole.
